Pastor Chris Tabone is the founding and senior pastor of Arise Church South Lake. No stranger to South Lake County, he carries deep roots in the Clermont area and more than 20 years of ministry experience. After years of serving and leading churches, he returned home with a clear calling: to plant a church where every person — no matter their background or history — would feel genuinely loved and known by God.
A graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity, Chris previously led Awaken Church in Clermont, Florida. His teaching is practical, warm, and always anchored in Scripture — Bible-grounded messages that connect to everyday, Monday-morning life. Each week he walks the church verse by verse through God’s Word.

Chris is passionate about helping ordinary people discover that they matter to Jesus, and about building a healthy, generous church that blesses the families and schools of South Lake County for generations to come.
Alongside Pastor Chris, our volunteer board provides spiritual leadership, governance, and faithful stewardship for the church.

Maddie dedicates her time, energy, and talent to bringing the church’s music to life each and every week. She’s working to develop other members and guide the consistency of our worship from week to week, and her expertise and background in Youth Ministry is helping us build the foundation the church needs.
She regularly works to ensure our sound system is dialed in and our music selection is in sync with Pastor Chris — and her voice is one we love to hear every Sunday. Thank you, Maddie, for all of your work and dedication to our church.
